Leading the pack is DEATHLOOP, the first-person adventure game from Arkane Studios (creators of the Dishonored series) that sees players solving a time loop mystery, and one of just a handful of games to receive a perfect 10/10 review from us in 2021.

Also released this year was Hitman 3, the third entry in IO Interactive’s stealth action series that includes six new maps including a murder mystery level that feels like it’s straight from the movie Knives Out. Despite being the final entry in the new trilogy, you don’t need to play the previous two to fully enjoy what Hitman 3 has to offer.
