• The Wheel of Time: How Amazon Brought Robert Jordan’s Fantasy Saga to Life – IGN First

As we eagerly await the launch of Amazon's The Wheel of Time on Prime Video, IGN will debut exclusive behind-the-scenes footage from the upcoming adaptation of Robert Jordan's iconic fantasy series over the next four weeks leading up to the premiere on November 19.

Today, we have an exclusive interview with showrunner Rafe Judkins, about how he and his creative team brought Robert Jordan's epic fantasy saga to life. "We worked so hard on this and for such a long time that you sometimes forget you're making something you grew up loving and have always dreamed of," Judkins told IGN. "You still have moments when you go back and pinch yourself."

For the full interview with Judkins, where he highlights iconic locations like the Two Rivers and Winespring Inn, check out the video below or at the top of the page:

Judkins goes on to explain that even before he was hired to helm Amazon's ambitious adaptation of Jordan's stories, he's been a fan of the books for a long time.

"For me, it was always about coming into the adaption and delivering the heart of the books, which is what I'm very close to because I read them as a fan not thinking about how you would adapt for television," Judkins said. "And now the second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, and seventh times I've read them you start to see all of those things and how clearly he laid out his world. And I think what we always try to do is stay true to the heart of the description."

IGN can also exclusively reveal an image of the terrifying Myrddraal, which we first got a glimpse of in the teaser trailer.

For more of our IGN First coverage of Amazon's The Wheel of Time, be sure to check out our exclusive trailer breakdown with showrunner Rafe Judkins, meet The Wheel of Time cast on set in Prague, and discover what makes the Aes Sedai so important in Season 1.

And be sure to watch The Wheel of Time when it debuts on Prime Video on Friday, November 19, 2021.

Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition Full Song List Confirmed

Ahead of the release of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition, Rockstar has released a full song list for all radio stations from across the three games.

Rockstar states that the collection will contain over 200 different tracks as it brings back each of the 29 stations that the series is known for. Rockstar has said that the track listings should match the most recent releases of the original version from 2014; this means an incomplete track listing compared to the original releases, as a number of tracks, such as Michael Jackson's Billy Jean, were removed for previous re-releases of the games.

The upcoming release of GTA: The Trilogy will take advantage of advancements in audio technology meaning that players will be able to listen to tracks from the stations through high-quality audio (16bit 44hrz) and in 5.1 Surround Sound.

Despite Rockstar stating that the station lists above should match the 2014 versions of the game, it seems that there may be a number of inconsistencies between the two. As per wiki listings detailing each of the stations in Grand Theft Auto 3, Vice City, and San Andreas and their 2014 re-releases, a number of tracks seem to be missing from Rockstar's latest version. A list of missing tracks can be found below:

    Grand Theft Auto: Vice City

    V-Rock

    • Loverboy – "Working for the Weekend" (1981)
    • Quiet Riot – "Cum On Feel the Noize" (1983)
    • The Cult – "She Sells Sanctuary" (1985)
    • Alcatrazz – "God Blessed Video" (1985)
    • Love Fist – "Fist Fury" (Allan Walker)

    Wave 103

    • Sigue Sigue Sputnik – "Love Missile F1-11" (1986)
    • Gary Numan – "Cars" (1979)
    • ABC – "Poison Arrow" (1982)
    • Animotion – "Obsession" (1984)

    Flash FM

    • The Buggles – "Video Killed the Radio Star" (1979)
    • Joe Jackson – "Steppin' Out" (1982)
    • The Fixx – "One Thing Leads to Another" (1983)
    • Aneka – "Japanese Boy" (1981)

    Wildstyle

    • Trouble Funk – "Pump Me Up" (1980)
    • 2 Live Crew – "Get It Girl" (1986)

    Emotion

    • John Waite – "Missing You" (1984)

    Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas

    Bounce FM

    • George Clinton – "Loopzilla" (1982)

    Master Sounds 98.3

    • Bobby Byrd – "Hot Pants – I'm Coming, I'm Coming, I'm Coming" (1971)
    • Lyn Collins – "Rock Me Again And Again" (1974)
    • Maceo & The Macks – "Soul Power' 74" (1973)
    • Bobby Byrd – "I Know You Got Soul" (1971)

Whether Rockstar has accidentally missed off the tracks from the published list or whether they won't be in the game remains to be seen. However, an article published by VGC did note that the outlet had heard leaked gameplay footage streamed on Twitch that included Love Missile F1-11 by Sigue Sigue Sputnik, Aneka's Japanese Boy and Video Killed the Radio Star by The Buggles, which perhaps indicates that the former may be true.
