• Get the Complete Batman Animated Series on Blu-ray for $25

I think most people would agree: Batman is awesome. In fact, I would go so far as to say Batman is the best superhero in history, but that controversial opinion is sure to rattle more than a few cages. Well, I stand by it: Batman is the best.

The Batman animated series is one of the best and most beloved of all the superhero animated series, and if you're a Prime Member, Amazon has marked down the complete Batman Animated Series Blu-ray for Prime Day.

    Batman: The Animated Series Deal

For a mere $25, you get every episode of the television show, along with the movies Batman: Mask of the Phantasm and Batman & Mr. Freeze: SubZero on two bonus discs. The show alone is over 35 hours of content, but there's also commentary tracks for 12 of the Batman: Animated Series episodes, as well as "in-depth featurettes."

In other words, this is an excellent collection, and the episodes are presented in high-definition. It's pretty clear a lot of care went into this HD set, and the reviews back me up. Sometimes animated shows will call it in for boxed sets, but not Batman. Batman never calls it in. That's why he's Batman.

It's one of many Amazon Prime movie deals happening as we approach the final stretch of Amazon Prime Day. Some of the deals have expired, but by and large, there are still a ton of deals still live. Some of the most popular Amazon Prime Day deals aren't even technically Prime-specific. In other words, if you don't have Prime you can still get the savings.

Farzar: Exclusive Season 1 “Kill a Man” Clip Reveal and Interview with Creators

From the creative minds of Brickleberry and Paradise PD, Farzar is a hilarious new adult animated sci-fi comedy launching on Netflix on Friday, July 15, 2022.

Here's how Netflix describes Farzar: "Egotistical human warrior Renzo liberated the planet Farzar from the evil alien Bazarack, and then established a human settlement under a huge dome, becoming the Czar of Farzar. Years later, Farzar is under attack by the evil aliens once again and Renzo’s well-meaning and not-so-bright son Prince Fichael ventures out with his special crew 'S.H.A.T.' (Special Hostile Assault Team!), made up of a human-soldier-turned-cyborg (Scootie), clashing conjoined twins (Val and Mal), an unhinged scientist (Barry Barris), a highly incapable mutant (Billy) and a mischievous little alien known as a chaos-celot. (Zobo)."

IGN can exclusively reveal a clip from Farzar featuring Kari Wahlgren as Mal and Val in the video below or at the top of the page:

Farzar has an impressive lineup of voice actors, including Lance Reddick (The Wire) as Renzo; Dana Snyder (Aqua Teen Hunger Force) as Fichael, Bazarack, and Billy; David Kaye (Eternals) as Barry Barris; Jerry Minor (Brickleberry) as Scootie; Grey DeLisle (The Simpsons) as Queen Flammy; and Carlos Alazraqui (Reno 911, Kamp Koral, The Casagrandes) as Zobo.

We spoke to series creators and executive producers Waco O'Guin and Roger Black to learn more about Farzar, and how a dramatic actor like Lance Reddick got involved in the series.

"I watched The Wire in between seasons one and two of Paradise PD and we knew we wanted our FBI character to come in and it would be a dream if we could get [Reddick]," O'Guin told IGN. "He's so serious, to make him say the most ridiculous shit we could think of would be the greatest thing ever. And we didn't think he would do it, but we were like, 'Let's just try.' And then we thought he hated us for a while. It was like, 'He's going to quit. He's going to quit.' But as we got to know him, he's got the silliest side."

Roger Black went on to say that Reddick is also a gamer and does voice-over work for Destiny as the character Commander Zavala.

Lance Reddick is more like the character in Farzar than he is like anybody on The Wire.

O'Guin and Black informed us that Farzar has been brewing in their minds even before Paradise PD and they're excited to explore an adult animated show through a sci-fi lens.

"We're both sci-fi fans," Black said. "I love Star Wars and Star Trek, and it was a good playground for us to experiment. And with animation, it just really lends itself to going crazy and you could pretty much draw anything. Whereas shooting live-action sci-fi would be like 5 million an episode or something."

Farzar premieres on Netflix this Friday, July 15. What did you think of the clip? Let us know in the comments. Black Mirror Season 6 Will Include Aaron Paul and Josh Hartnett

Season 6 of the British anthology series Black Mirror was announced earlier this year, and now we finally know some of the new faces joining the show’s world of unease and science fiction. According to Variety, the next season of Black Mirror will include Aaron Paul of Breaking Bad fame and Josh Hartnett, who starred in Penny Dreadful.

Black Mirror Season 6 will also feature Zazie Beetz, Paapa Essiedu, Kate Mara, Danny Ramirez, Clara Rugaard, Auden Thornton and Anjana Vasan. Variety reports this cast will feature in the sixth season’s first three episodes with more actors joining for the season’s remaining episodes. The cast for the rest of the episodes have yet to be revealed

We first learned of the show’s sixth season earlier this year, and story details are still under wraps. We do know, however, that Season 6 will have more episodes than Season 5, which only had three. Black Mirror Season 6 will be “more cinematic in scope, with each installment being treated as an individual film."

In 2020, a year after Season 5’s premiere, Black Mirror creator Charlie Booker said that he wasn’t keen on writing more Black Mirror stories anytime soon. “I don’t know what stomach there would be for stories about societies falling apart,” he told Radio Times.

Now, three years have passed since Season 5 premiered on Netflix. Season 5 will be a tough act for the next to follow. While it is shorter than past outings, we gave Season 5 an 8.5/10 in our review and called it “one of series' best, with a shorter, stronger, and more captivating collection of episodes.”
