Black Friday 2012 has come and gone, were you one of the ones who bought a Wii U for your kids or yourself? According to Nintendo, they sold over 400,000 Wii Us, and that it out sold more units than the Wii did in 2006.
Strange enough, the Wii sold 300,000 units, many believe confused parents bought the wrong systems but there were good sales on the Wii over the weekend. The Wii U is a brand new system, that has nothing to do with the Wii.
Nintendo in the marketing of their new system has confused some customers. You can use your Wii remotes and old games with the new system, but you can not use the new tablet controller with your old Wii.
Most of the launch titles for the Wii U are recycled Xbox and PS3 games with a few added features, like Call of Duty and Batman. The prize jewel of course is the new Mario Brothers game.
No one knows if the Wii U will keep up its sales. With the new Xbox and PS4 on the horizon, would you still be inclined to buy the new Wii U?
